2010 Exhibitions

The gallery presents a number of Special Exhibitions each year, which concentrate on the work of a particular artist or artists, complemented by various themed shows presenting a particular subject or period. Between these shows we hold Mixed Exhibitions that are constantly changing as new works become available.

10th to 27th February
"Charity Exhibition in aid of Cobham Bus Museum"
An exhibition of recent works by our artists and also including works from the 19th and 20th Century. We are pleased to donate 50% of the gallery commission on the private view night to this very special local charity that restores, exhibits and cherishes "The Bus".

7th to 31st July
The Summer Exhibition
To put you all in the mood for your summer holidays.

10th March - 27th March
"Home and Abroad"

An exhibition of specially selected works from the 19th, 20th and 21st Centuries. Featuring all the places that have excited us both home and abroad

 8th to 25th September
"Charity Private View in aid of The Grange in Bookham"
The Grange provides a range of services to adults with disabilities. It offers training in work and social skills, productive work opportunities, supported housing and 24 hour care. We are pleased to donate 50% of the gallery commission on the private view night to the charity. Featuring recent works by our gallery artists together with paintings from the 19th and early 20th century.


14th April to 1st May
"The Seasons"

Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter we all have our favourite. The awakening of nature in the sping to the cold crisp bright days of winter and all in between

 

6th to 23rd October
"19th & 20th Century Exhibition"

We keep finding them! Come and see what this year has produced.

12th to 29th May
"Gone but not Forgotten"

This will be primarily an exhibition of works by Alan Simpson RSMA (1941 - 2007), a gallery artist for many years. It will also include works by some other gallery artists who are "gone but not forgotten"

 

3rd to 20th November
"An exhibition of works by past members of the Wapping Group of Artists".
Founded sixty year ago the Wapping Group of Artists is the last proper artists' society left in England. There were many famous artists who were members of the group that painted London and its river. This is a chance to see the works of some of these artists and to see the Thames as it was.

9th to 26th June
"Town and Country"

Cities, towns, villages and their surroundings.

 1st to 24th December
"Christmas Exhibition"
Come and select a unique gift that should give a lifetime of pleasure. This exhibition will feature gallery artists plus those from the 19th & 20th Century.
